Magic Powder for Hair Removal

Here they are! Those powders and creams you have been seeing all over TikTok! At least I have been seeing those video’s maybe 4 times a day. Should I spend less time on my phone?… Nha!

So I thought, As a Hair Removal Enthousiast, I would put all these ‘Softsheen-Carson Magic Razorless Shaving‘ products together. And provide you with their facts and promises. The powders you have to mix with water to make it into a paste. You lather that paste all over your legs or preferred body area to get hairless without having to shave. These ‘Magic’ products are actually made and marketed for (black) Men. But the women of TikTok have taken over and are raving about this stuff. So let’s get into it!

Magic Hair Removal Powder

Normal Strength

(As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases)

This Powder is sort of the OG of the Softsheen-Carson Magic Razorless Shaving Powder line. This stuff is actually designed for black men to prevent getting razor bumps when they shave their face. A lot of girls/women on TikTok are using the ‘ Extra Strength’ powder you’ll see when you look below this one. But to be honest with you, if you’ve never tried this stuff before you might not want to start with that one. Either start with this one, the ‘normal strength’, or even better the one for sensitive skin, the ‘Platinum’ Powder. This powder in the blue can is made for normal beards.. So I guess normal, soft straight-ish hair. Not too coarse. Keep reading and scroll down below for more variations. PLEASE don’t use it on the bikini area, your skin will burn.

Magic Hair Removal Powder

Extra Strength

I’ve been seeing a lot of women use this one. I am totally new to this technique of removing body hair and I wouldn’t start with the extra strength, if you’ve never tried it. But If you have a really rough and bumpy skin and know your skin isn’t sensitive by nature, I guess you could give it a try. I still recommend to start off with maybe the ‘ normal’ or ‘platinum’. This particular product was designed for men with coarse beard hairs. So I guess if you’re not sensitive to new products and have coarse body hair, this might be a good fit for you. PLAESE don’t use this product on your bikini area, your skin WILL burn!

Magic Hair Removal Powder Gold

With Fragrance

This is Amazon’s #1 Best seller and also the cheapest product in this line. With just costing $1,74 definitely worth trying out. A lot of costumers report they don’t like the (strong) smell of the ‘normal’ and ‘ extra strength’ powders. So if you’re looking for a better smelling alternative, here you go. But not everyone likes the same smell so you might end up hating it. Click on the image to have a little scroll through the reviews yourself. They’re very contradicting. Some love it and some hate it! I guess it really depends on your skin and hairs. One thing I do advice you to do, is to get a measuring spoon to accurately mix the powder with water to get the best results. I think the people who report not getting the desired results are not mixing the product right. And if you’re clumsy like me just get the tube of cream haha. It’ll be less messy and quicker. Scroll down for that one.

Magic Hair Removal Platinum Powder

with Aloe & vitamin E skin conditioning

For anyone new to this method of Hair Removal, like me, I would recommend this powder. It smells better than the other ones and has Aloe and Vitamine E in it to nourish you skin as well as removing your hair. It’s better to start with a less strong product like this one to prevent ending up with skin burns or other skin reactions. A big PLUS with this powder is that it’s totally safe to use this one on your private parts to remove those hairs. They don’t recommend to leave the paste on there for too long though. The ‘ Magic’ creators of this powder recommend you to spray the bikini area with water every so often, after you’ve put on the paste. To prevent the paste from drying and damaging your skin. This is also a great product to use over a tattoo.

The Magic Smooth Hair-Removing Creams

Again a lot of mixed reviews on all of these. Some costumers aren’t too happy with the result they got. Some are really unhappy and even experienced actual chemical burns on their skin. And others are a 100% satisfied with it. So really hard to say. I haven’t used all of these yet and I don’t think I will either. I will try the powder one called ‘Platinum’ Because I think that’s the least aggressive one of this Hair Removal line. I just know my skin is sensitive and I’m not sure it could handle these creams and ‘Extra Strength’ powder. Nevertheless there’s less mess with the creams because you don’t have to mix anything and it also saves you some time.

Some Last Minute Tips

Before You Go And Try These!

  1. I definitely recommend patch testing any of these products, before putting it on your body,
  2. Get measuring spoons or a measuring cup, for accurate mixing. This will really help to get the best results.
  3. Start with the Platinum or at least the ‘normal’ version to slowly introduce this product to your skin.
  4. Don’t use these products on broken skin or any little wounds and cuts you may have on you skin.
